I FINALLY WENT GREY!!!

I finally and officially went grey!!! I have never been in love with my hair so I thought I'd do a blogpost about it. I just got it done 2 days ago so it's still fresh and I haven't washed my hair since and to be honest, I don't even wanna wash my hair because I don't want it to fade straight away but I know that would be gross! LOL

You may or may not know that I've always wanted to go grey but every time I attempted to do so, it doesn't always work. It either turns to be a different colour or it lasts for only a week. And on top of that, I have to get 7 sessions that's $200 or more each session in order to turn that specific grey. And there's no way I am going to let $1400 plus slip out of my hands just like that (unless it's a Justin Bieber concert of course!!) So I gave up at this point because I've never had any good experience with salons.

But just recently my sister searched up salons that does grey hair because she wanted to go grey as well. She found this hair salon called ''Stop-In Hair and Beauty'. We checked their instagram page and we were impressed with the pictures of the hair transformations and the quality of their ash grey balayage/ombre, which they seem to specialise in. I was thinking to myself that there's no way those balayage was done in only one session...

Honestly, I was contemplating if I should do it or not but my sister convinced me so I did it since I've always wanted to do to anyways. And I swear to you guys I am so glad I did!! Of course at first I didn't expect much because it might not work out again, just like my previous experiences. But it turned out really really well!

 High-raised Ash Silver Grey

We had our appointment at 10:00am and didn't finish until 6:00pm. All the bleaching and the waiting, everything was all worth it. So my hair was bleached twice. Each bleaching session takes about an hour. After my hair was bleached, it still had orange-y residue. This is because my hair had already been bleached prior to that. So it had to be bleached again to get the grey that I wanted to achieve. After my Second bleaching session, it still had a bit of orange but it was ready to be toned. And mind you this was all done in ONE day! After toning my hair the first time, there were still yellow shades in some parts so Chi - the lady that did my hair - had to tone my hair again until it turns grey. And she was so nice and professional because she didn't stop until my hair was super toned and grey, silver almost. They try to make sure you get what you want.

We were practically there for the whole day and they were so nice to offer us drinks and if we'd like anything to eat. The customer service was on point and they were very gentle with our hair. It was a very nice experience for me. They put so much effort and time on my hair! They spent almost 7 hours just to get the best results and honestly, they over exceeded my expectations! Wonderful service and they also gave us helpful tips on how to look after our hair. I've never been this grey but  @stopinhair.beauty made it work! I can honestly say that THEY ARE THE GUY TANG OF MELBOURNE! So I really recommend this hair salon if you live in the west side of Melbourne (or even if you don't)!

(RIP to the photos that didn't make it lol)

DECEMBER 2016 | INSTA DIARY

HAPPY NEW YEAR , everyone! I cannot believe it's 2017 already!!! New year, same dreams, fresh starts - that's the motto for this year. This is my first post for the year 2017 and I am excited what this year has in store for me. Anyway, these are my top posts for December 2016.

Gift Wrapping

I just love the Christmas season! (If you couldn't tell already haha) and I am so sad that it's already over! By the way, my family liked the presents I got them and they almost didn't want to ruin my wrapping haha!

Shabby Chic Bedroom

After almost a year, I'm finally almost finished in decorating my bedroom and I am sorta going for the shabby chic vibe. Room tour soon hopefully! PS: nothing beats the feeling of sleeping on fresh new sheets!

Packing

If you've read my previous posts then you'll know that my family and I just got back from our bible study group camp in Grantville so I had to pack my stuff. And guess what? I haven't unpacked until now haha I mean who can be bothered! Packing is so fun but unpacking, not so much! Well, I had to fit everything (4 day worth of clothes) in this tiny thing and I think I did an alright job!

Mint Macaroon Dress

Obsessed with this dress! You can get it   @shienofficial ~

Grantville Beach

So on this day, I dropped my phone in the ocean but at least I haven't got sun burnt yet lol I knew something like this would happen so I bought a waterproof iPhone case but unfortunately it didn't come on time. Fortunately, my phone still works so I didn't have to buy an iPhone 7 afterall!

Pool Party

We didn't have a pool at the place we stayed in, so we had to improvise. My dad bought us an inflatable pool haha! This is probably the highlight of our trip and when we went to Sorrento Back Beach.

Sorrento Back Beach

And this is Sorrento Back Beach.. IT IS so beautiful in real life and I feel like this photo does NOT do a justice. I wish my waterproof case came in the mail on time could've taken photos up close of how pretty this place is! Definitely would come back here!
